Little sneak peek of the colors we are trying out for the main living area.  This is a picture of our entryway, where we get pretty good natural light.  And now, we have that awesome new light fixture that was installed! Our house is set up so that the entryway flows into both the upper level and the lower level.  So, we're looking for something neutral that will work with each space. We have a definite favorite that we are going with.  Which do you like??

Back to the Future

Last week we were up at our beach house, enjoying some incredible weather and time with family.  One new tradition my brothers and I seem to be starting is to introduce the kids to some movies that we enjoyed when we were younger.  Last year we watched "Goonies," and this year we watched "The Princess Bride" and "Back to the Future."  Little Lady was on the edge of her seat, wondering if Marty McFly would make it back to good old 1985. The house needs a total external overhaul, and we started focusing on the yard and overall curb appeal. Our walkway has been lined with brick, some of which had started coming out of place and causing quite the obstacle as the kids tried to run across the yard into the driveway.  Plus, I just didn't like the look.  I think at some point they were meant as a decorative edge, but it gave the walkway a dated appearance. M and Little Man (well, mostly M) took out the bricks earlier this week, which absolutely op
